The Fraser River Heritage Park is located just off of Highway #7 (or Lougheed Highway) by going north on Stave Lake Street and then east on 5th Avenue. It is a one hour drive east of Vancouver and a one hour drive north of Bellingham, Washington.  Paid parking is available on location, and overflow parking is located a 10-minute walk away.

SITE FEATURES

From Heritage Park there are spectacular view of the Fraser Valley and the Fraser River. On clear days you can see the snow-capped peak of Mt. Baker in Washington State. The park is surrounded by nature trails and extensive forests, and has a fascinating history from its beginnings as the grounds of St. Mary’s Mission and Residential School in 1861.
