Festival 101

Festival Hours of Operation: 

Friday: gate opens 5:00 pm, music runs from 6:00 – 10:00 pm

Saturday: gate opens 11:00 am, music runs from 12:00 noon – 10:00 pm

Sunday: gate opens 10:00 am, music runs from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm

Getting here: Mission is an hour’s drive east of Vancouver along the Lougheed Highway; from the Trans-Canada, take exit #92 at Abbotsford, follow Sumas Way to Highway #11 and north to Mission. From Bellingham, go to Sumas border crossing, follow Sumas Way to Highway #11 north to Mission.  Fraser River Heritage Park is on the east side of Mission, just off the Lougheed Highway, at 7494 Mary Street (turn north at Stave Lake Street, then turn right at 5th Avenue.)

Parking: Affordable paid parking is available on-site and is operated by Mission Secondary School Drama Department students as a fundraising partnership with the Festival.

Artisan Market: Over 20 artisans bring to you a selection of unique, handmade, and crafted treasures!

Food: We have a selection of delicious food vendors and a licensed Bistro.

ATM machine is available on site.

Please: no pets • no alcohol • no audio or video recording • no smoking.

Clothes: Dress for the outdoors! Bring sunscreen, insect repellant, a hat, warm clothes for evening, rain gear if necessary. Bring a refillable water bottle or purchase a stainless steel bottle from our Festival Merchandise Tent as we eliminate the use of plastic water bottles. Free water refills are available on site.

Seating: Bring a low beach chair or festival chair or a tarp or blanket for seating. Standard height lawn chairs are discouraged, and you will be directed to the rear and side of the audience even if you set up before the people behind you! Please don’t block the view of others.
